Primary Function:
This position is managing all facets of the Warehouse and program shipping operations to include monitoring materials inventory levels, shipping and receiving materials, tools and equipment to job sites as well as property inventory and management. This position also contributes to development of List of Materials for RFP’s, obtains quotes from vendors and manufacturers and performs materials purchasing tasks.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Management and oversight of Warehouse operations.
2. Understand and implement standard supply chain protocols.
3. Oversight and review of the coordination of shipping and receiving of tools, parts and materials.
4. Work closely with team members to ensure the shipping and receiving items meet the specifications of the job and any invoice adjustments are made as necessary.
5. Maintain base inventory levels to ensure technicians have access to materials as necessary.
6. Ensure took kits and mobile containers are stocked and maintained at proper levels.
7. Work with and understand multiple shipping organizations to ensure provide best shipping delivers and rates.
8. Responsible for communicating with both internal and external customers in an effective manner.
9. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
10. Ability to interact with vendors and employees on a daily basis and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary.
11. Ability to work as a member of a team and coordinate tasks of team members to ensure the goals of the project are met in a timely manner.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Employee will be working within a warehouse and office environment. Employee may be expected to travel on occasion to locations where specific PPE or attire is necessary.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
· 1-3 years experience working as a Warehouse Manager, Supply chain Manager, a Logistics Coordinator or Equivalent
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or like field, combination of education and experience may substitute for degree.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Current/Ability to obtain DOD Clearance.
