PROCEDURE FOR THE REGISTRATION OF ARTISTS

A)MEMBERS

The registration file will contain all the documents listed below:

  • Act of Accession (in the approved format – is available at the headquarters of CREDIDAM or on the website filled in and signed by the artist/guardian.
  • Signed certified copy of the artist’s original identity document.
  • Signed certified copy of the artist’s birth certificate (in the case of artists under 14), accompanied by a copy of the guardian’s identity document.
  • IBAN code of the card/account opened with Banca Comercială Română (in case the artist/guardian already has such card/account), or with another bank.
  • 2 I.D. Card type photographs of the artist.
  • RON 10, representing the accession fee.
  • Repertory declaration form (in the approved format – is available at the headquarters of CREDIDAM or on the website filled in and signed by the artist/guardian.
  • Copy of the cassette, CD covers etc., attesting the holder’s repertory, signed and dated on each page.
  • Copy of the agreements, attesting the holder’s audiovisual performances.

The file may be submitted either:

a)Personally, by the artist/guardian, at the headquarters of CREDIDAM. At the respective time, the accession fee may also be paid, a receipt being issued for the payment.

b)By mail, to the address of CREDIDAM. In this case, the accession fee will be paid by money order or by payment order, into the account RO73INGB0001000152938931, opened with ING Bank Romania, Central Branch.

B)NON-MEMBERS

a)ARTISTS

The file will contain all the documents listed below:

  1. Request for the collection of related rights (in the approved format – is available at the headquarters of CREDIDAM or on the website filled in and signed by the artist/guardian.
  2. Signed certified copy of the artist’s original identity document.
  3. Signed certified copy of the artist’s birth certificate (in the case of artists under 14), accompanied by a copy of the guardian’s identity document.
  4. IBAN code of the card/account opened with Banca Comercială Română (in case the artist/guardian already has such card/account), or with another bank.
  5. Repertory declaration form (in the approved format – is available at the headquarters of CREDIDAM or on the website filled in and signed by the artist/guardian.
  6. Copy of the cassette, CD covers etc., attesting the holder’s repertory, signed and dated on each page.
  7. Copy of the agreements, attesting the holder’s audiovisual performances.

b)INHERITORS

The file will contain all the documents listed below (in case there are several inheritors, each one of them will submit their own file):

  1. Request for the collection of related rights (in the approved format – is available at the headquarters of CREDIDAM or on the website filled in and signed by the inheritor.
  2. Signed certified copy of the artist’s original death certificate.
  3. Signed certified copy of the inheritor’s original identity document.
  4. Copy of the certificate of inheritance (which will stipulate the intellectual property rights and the inheritance percentages, in the case of several inheritors).
  5. Repertory declaration form (in the approved format – is available at the headquarters of CREDIDAM or on the website filled in and signed by the artist/guardian.
  6. Copy of the cassette, CD covers etc., attesting the holder’s repertory, signed and dated on each page.
  7. Copy of the agreements, attesting the holder’s audiovisual performances.

After submission, each act of accession and each repertory declaration will be assigned a registration number from the general entry log. Afterwards, they will be transmitted for approval and signing by the General Manager. Then, each file will receive a member/non-member number from a special log. Each file will be afterwards entered into the CREDIDAM application for record and distribution purposes.
