Updating Content

No changes need to be made to the HTML markup under any circumstance. All content is managed by editing a csv file. All csv files are located in the following directory:

\forecast_centre\csv

Please note that there are 5 folders within the csv directory, each of which represents which tabbed control they fall under. For example, tab_ui_1 represents the Forecast / Reports tabbed control whereas, tab_ui_5 represents the watersheds data/ maps tabbed control.

Please see below for details on how each csv/html table is structured.

Convention Used:

<a</a> are anchor tags and they are used to link to a document (pdf).

Note:

Please use an apostrophe (‘), inside the anchor tags(<a</a>)- instead of quotation marks. In addition, if a comma (,) appears in between the anchor tags, you must escape this character because they have special meaning to the web browser. For example, instead of using

<a href=’ ‘>Blue, Red, Green</a> Please do the following:

<a href=’ ‘>Blue&#44; Red&#44; Green</a>

This will ensure that commas are rendered correctly by the web browser.

Note:All filenames should be in lower case.

All csv files are stored at the following location:

T:\WSD_Internet\waterstewardship\floodinfo\forecast_centre\csv
