REID CAMPUS CENTER WINDOW DECORATING GUIDELINES

The Reid Campus Center is allowing certain windows in the building to be decorated for the purpose of advertising campus events, programs, or organizations. The following guidelines have been established in order to ensure the fair and appropriate use of this new advertising medium:

  1. The Student Activities Office is responsible for approving and scheduling window decorations. Permission to decorate window(s) must be obtained in advance by contacting Leann Adams, Reid 202.
  2. The Student Activities Office and Reid Campus Center Director have sole discretion in approving groups and advertisements.
  3. The windows available for decorating are the five large windows on the south side of the building in the café area. A group may use up to 3 of the windows at a given time.
  4. Only the approved markers provided by the Student Activities Office may be used to decorate windows - no other paints or markers should be applied to windows. An appointment to check-out the markers will be made when window space is reserved for your group.
  5. Only the glass may be decorated - care should be taken to avoid getting paint on wood frames and floor tiles, and spills/drips should be cleaned up immediately.
  6. Window decorations may stay up for a maximum of 2 weeks or until the event date has passed, whichever comes first.
  7. Your group is responsible for thoroughly cleaning your window(s) before your reserved time has ended. Cleaning supplies will be provided by the Student Activities Office and the window will be checked to ensure that it has been appropriately and completely cleaned.
