All-Church Council Meeting The All-Church Council Meeting will be held TODAY immediately following the 10:30 Service. A light lunch will be served.

Softball Today’s game is at 2:00 PM vs. Mt. Pleasant CoB. We will be playing at Schrop Elementary School, 2215 Pickle Road, Akron. Next week’s game is at 2:00 PM vs. Eastwood CoB. COME CHEER US ON!

Youth Program All Junior and Senior High kids are invited to get together Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM.

Bible Study Bible Studyis held Wednesday at 7:00 PM. All are welcome!

Vacation Bible School REGISTER TODAY FOR VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL! This year’s theme, “WeirdAnimals” where Jesus’ love is one-of-a-kind, will take place BEGINNING TOMORROW from 9:00 AM-12:00 Noon. Please see Frankie to register your children and their friends (ages 3 thru grade 6).

Father-Son Banquet The Father-Son Banquet, sponsored by In-Joy, will be held this Saturday, June 14, at 6:00 PM. Our guest speaker is local resident Dick Montgomery, a past teacher and coach in the Tallmadge School system. He is a Deacon at his church, led a high school group for five years and has participated in many Mission Trips, the most recent being several trips to help rebuild after Hurricane Katrina.Tickets prices are: Adults $7:00, Children 12 & under $4.00, and are on sale in the Narthex.

Heart & Soul The next edition of the Heart & Soul will have both July and August material in it. If you have any information for either of those months, please have it to the office by next Sunday, June 15. Thank you!

Women’s Retreat All women are invited to Twila’s cabin in Nashville, Indian, for a Women’s Retreat. We will be leaving Sunday, August 10, after church, and return Wednesday, August 13. See Nancy Sutherin if you have any questions.
