e) What is the purpose of using firewall?

g) What do you mean by lossy and lossless compression?

2. Write an XML document to store the details of students. Also designs a web page to get the input of students enrollment number and retrieve the full details from the XML document. (10)
3. a) Explain tools used for web graphics, with emphasis on implementations and advantages. (5)
b) Write a java script to validate the email address. (5)
4. a) Explain RMI in detail and also explain the concept of stub and skeleton. (5)
b) What is hyper linking? Explain External Document Hyper linking and Internal Document Hyper linking with example. (5)
5. Develop web page(s) of your university with the help of HTML or JSP. Also explain how you will put it on net. (10)
6. Prepare an HTML page listing for popular bike companies. For each company prepare a sub list showing various brands of bike it offers. Create a CSS style sheet and use it to display the document. (10)
