Paediatric cardiovascular disease is an important source of morbidity and mortality in
Australian children. Research into paediatric cardiovascular disease has the

reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in children.
The Heart Foundation and The Macquarie Bank Foundation, in association with The
Australia and New Zealand Children’s Heart Research Centre are proud to offer this
Paediatric Cardiovascular Fellowship for the first time for funding commencing in
2006/7.
Applications are now invited from medical, science, allied health or nursing graduates
who wish to undertake biomedical, clinical or public health research into paediatric
cardiovascular disease as part of the research program of The Australia and New
Zealand Children’s Heart Research Centre.
