A: According to the latest news authorized by Xiamen Traffic Police, container trailers will be greatly restricted in time and area during the conference,

(1) From 0:00 A.M. of August 31, 2017 to 12:00 P.M. of September 6, 2017, for trucks with the wagon pass, they are allowed to drive on the designated routes (area) in and outside the islandonly within the period from 10:00 P.M. to the following morning at 5:00.

(2) From 0:00 A.M. of August 31, 2017 to 12:00 P.M. of September 6, 2017, for trucks without the wagon pass, they are allowed to drive on the designated routes (area) only outside the island within the period from 10:00 P.M. to the following morning at 5:00.

Q2: Is there anything we should pay attention to, if we export before and after the conference?

A2: A week before and after the traffic-reduction ( i.e. from August 24 to August 30 & from September 7 to September 16), there may be small peak of shipment. Therefore we suggest that you make the trailer and space arrangement in advance.

Q5:During the conference, due to the traffic reduction, if containers need to be picked up in advance, can O/B DND fee be waived?

A5:For schedule during the conference, our company will apply for free DND extension for all shipments. Detailed DND information can be checked in the website

Q6: Because of production problems, shippers have to load cargoes during the traffic reduction. Are there any other schemes to arrange shipments?

A6: During the traffic reduction, truckers have to gate in terminals by following the rules. In addition, shippers can also choose to use our local feeder services from Quanzhou\Fuzhou\Dongshan to Xiamen terminals.

Q7: What if import shipments arrived in Xiamen during the conference?

A7: For foreign trade import shipments, we suggest customers prepare custom clearance in advance and pick up the laden containers by following the traffic restrictions. For domestic import cargoes, we suggest customers try to pick up containers in time, to avoid port congestions.

Q8: If there are import cargoes from Quanzhou port (or Zhangzhou port) temporarily distributing to Zhangzhou(Quanzhou) area, what do I need to pay attention to?
