What is the Bible?

The Book called “The Bible” or “The word of God” or “The Scriptures” is the authority of the Christian faith. This book is not like any other book. The Bible consists of 66 individual books written by 40 authors, each of which was Asian and all had different jobs such as: Kings, tax collectors, fisherman, doctors, farmers, servants, lawyers, etc. These writers wrote the Bible over a period of 1500 years, they didn’t corroborate with each other and all lived in separate places, but when the individual books were gathered together, they all had the same meaning and read as one story. This is simply because every one of these writers was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God as they wrote. Therefore, the Bible is an ancient book that is still popular today. The Bible was the first book ever printed on a printing press and has been translated into many languages including Lao/Thai. The Bible has two parts: the Old Testament and the New Testament.

The Bible has the true account of the creation and the end of the world, the beginning of man and the animals, the origin of sin, and tells of heaven and hell.

The thing that proves that the Bible is a miraculous and supernatural book, however is its amazing ability to prophesy and tell the future without error.
