Founded in 1948, Lakeside Insurance Center, LLC is a family-owned business with offices in Arvada, CO, Louisville, CO and Chesterfield, MI. It is a full service, independent agency offeringpersonal and businessinsurance and risk management in more than 30 states. The agency represents many of the largest and most respected insurance companies inthe country, so offers clients customized insurance policies and risk management services.

Why an Independent Insurance Agency?

Because independent insurance agencies, like Lakeside Insurance Center, represent a number of different insurance companies and can compare coverage and price to find the best possible value for clients' individual circumstances. They not only advise clients about insurance, they recommend loss-prevention ideas that can cut costs. Michael McCarron, Owner

Michael graduated from the University of Michigan, traveled South America for three months, then moved to Colorado with his wife Gillian.He purchased Lakeside Insurance in 1999. Michael is involved in the local community. He is board chair for the Arvada Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado and an active member of the Arvada Citizens Police Academy, Arvada Hockey Association, CU Denver College of Business Development Committee (RMI program), Denver 7’s Rugby, FBI Citizens Academy Alumni, Real Colorado Soccer, and West Point Metro District.Michael enjoys time with his family, hunting, traveling, and hanging out at his cabin in Grand Lake!

Gillian McCarron, Vice President

Gillian graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in biopsychology and cognitive sciences. She joined the agency in 2002. Gillian is past chairman of the board for the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado, and has been an active member serving on numerous committees since 2002. Gillian volunteers with Family Tree and currently serves on their NextGen Committee helping to bring awareness to child abuse, domestic violence and homelessness.
