Diagnostic Summary:

Please document diagnostic steps taken as well as diagnostic tools used to access asset:

/ Unboxed the system and the disk enclosures and connected accordingly
Using an HMC (not part of auction) we were able to communicate with the 8286 server and obtain the screen shots that are shown found at the bottom of this audit report
We then performed a system boot to check for operating system – no O/S found
From the HMC an AIX partition with all resources was created
New partition activated & booted successfully from a DIAG DVD in order to test everything found by the system.
ALL TESTED SUCCESSFULLY

/ One of the 5887 packing boxes has a small hole along one side at the bottom
Three remaining 5887 packing boxes are undamaged
All internal packaging is good
None of the 5887’s are damaged
The 8286 box and internal packaging are undamaged
The 8286 is undamaged
None of the installed components in any enclosure are damaged
