Tuesday, March 8, 2016 / *parts of a story / 1. bellwork- setting
2. Whole- I read the book “A Bad Case of Stripes” and they completed a Plot Plan that included: intro, rising action, climax, falling action, and solution
3. Stations: Tom the simpleton… / Comprehension: TLW highlight, read, comprehend, and answer questions to a text in complete sentences.
Wednesday, March 9, 2016 / *parts of a story / 1. bellwork- setting
2. Whole- TL was put into groups of 3. They were given butcher paper, markers, and a short book. They read the book to each other. They complete the title, plot plan, thesis statement, and illustrated. They also orally presented their plot plan. / Writing: TLW rewrite a text that was written by a 4th grade student about Egypt. They will put the sentences in the correct sequence.
