3.COUNCIL MINUTES
RESOLVEDon proposal by Cllr. R. Hesse-Phillipson, seconded by Cllr. P. Banyardthat the notes of the Management and Finance Committee meeting on Monday 11th May2009be confirmed and signed as a correct record.
Cllr. WSR. Parry arrived at the meeting at 7:02pm.

5.CHAIRMAN’S ANNOUNCEMENTS
No Chairman’s announcements.
6.REPORT FROM THE CLERK TO THE COUNCIL
The Clerk advised the Committee the official opening of the new play area on Aisby Walk will take place on Saturday at 11am.
He also informed the Committee that he would be attending a meeting with the internal auditor tomorrow.

8.TO DISPOSE OF ANY BUSINESS REMAINING FROM THE LAST MEETING
No business to dispose of.

10.APPEAL REQUESTS
Lincoln & Lindsey Blind Society
RESOLVED on proposal by Cllr. P. Banyard, seconded by Cllr. WSR. Parry to reject the appeal request as S137 grants can only be used to benefit the people of the parish.
Cllrs. T. Davies and R. Hesse-Phillipson abstained from the vote.
11.STAFF TRAINING
RESOLVED on proposal by Cllr. T. Davies, seconded by Cllr. P. Banyard to approved for the Environmental Officer to attend the Cemetery Managers Awareness Course at a cost of £790, for Daniel Allen to attend the Health & Safety and the Burial Process course at a cost of £890 plus travel, and for Daniel Boswell to attend the Health & Safety and the Burial Process course at a cost of £890 (£580 of which would come from his training allowance from A4E) plus travel if the Council approve to employee him which the Committee will discuss next month.
12.COUNCIL LEASED VEHICLE
Cllr. D. Dobbie arrived at the meeting at 7:08pm.
RESOLVED on proposal by Cllr. T. Davies, seconded by Cllr. P. Banyard that the Council replace the existing blue van for a new Vauxhall Vivaro at a cost of £322.26 per month.
13.FINANCIAL REPORTS FROM MAY
RESOLVED on proposal by Cllr. T. Davies, seconded by Cllr. P. Banyard that the monthly statement of income and expenditure for May 2009 be approved and signed by the Chairman.
