2.2. Fixed issues
The followings are modified in this version.
1. On the MFP with Vendor 2 is installed, the program job is not charged. [PEBJ__1300636419]
2. The Current Time is delayed for about 1sec. in the following cases.
- Main power SW is turned off and on
- MFP is entered or returned the Sleep Mode.
3. If performing the color scan calibration for Fiery, “Now calibrating" keeps displaying.
3. Functional restrictions
3.1. Remaining Issues
The following issues will be corrected in maintenance release (End of June, 2013).
1. When installing the PCL driver in 32bit client from 64bit Server via Point and Print server, some of settings are not reflected to 32bit client. [PEBF__12001818, RIBNZ_12002322, PEBDFS12001776]
2. If sending OOXML(docx, xlsx, pptx) file using OCR function, the following symptom occurs.
- If the original is placed upside down on the original glass, the thumbnail is not rotated automatically.
3. When using the External Server Authentication + Card Authentication, the following symptom occurs if performing Scan to E-mail with SMTP Authentication.
- When using LDAP Address Search, "LDAP Server connection error" is displayed and it can not search by LDAP.
4. When using the Enhanced Server authentication, the following symptoms may occur if the ID button is pushed and login logout is repeated within one second.
- The information for Login user is not displayed.
- The Start Key does not work.
5. When using SSL for OpenAPI, PCL Driver does not acquire GammaTable from MFP if printing the file with 1200 dpi by using PCL Driver.
6. When performing Scan to USB, the Active job list is not displayed correctly.
7. When Debug Log (Enhance Mode) is enabled in PS Authentication Manager + PS My Print Manager environment, it can not log in to MFP if the following procedure is operated repeatedly.
- Log in and printing the job.
8. If active the next job while active 100 jobs, the following symptom occurs.
- The next job is not displayed and 1st job is displayed in top of the Active job list.
9. On the MFP with AU-102 is installed, if the connection timeout with the Enhanced Server occurs, user input screen is displayed.
10. In the Enhanced Server + AU-102 environment, the register authentication information screen is displayed for a moment while registering the authentication information into the Enhanced Server.
11. When printing the orientation mixed document by using PCL Driver under the following settings, PCL XL Error is printed.
- 1200dpi + Combination
12. The waste toner box full warning may keep displaying.
13. On the MFP with Management Device2 is installed, "Please set the card again" is displayed for a moment when a new user is registered.
14. When ADF is not installed on MFP, MFP may reboot if Sleep mode or DeepSleep is repeated.
15. If memory overflow occurs after press the stop key while scanning the document from ADF, "The job is being stopped" may keep displaying.
3.2. Functional restrictions
1. If the main switch is turned OFF and ON while saving the Fax job in User Box, the thumbnail is not displayed correctly for a moment.
2. The following characters can enter into Host name from the control panel.
- "." and "-"
* Refer to the Readme.txt file which is included in each driver and application for other functional restrictions.

4. How to install
4.1. How to install program
Use USB memory to install. For the details, see the Service Manual.
Conditions for USB memory which can be used for updating the firmware are as follows:
- Securities such as data encryption and password lock shall be released, or the security function shall be turned Off.
- Memory with 1 GB to 2 GB are recommended (One with 4 GB or more may not operate)
- Compatible with USB Version 1.0/2.0 interface
- Formatted with FAT32 type
- A USB flash memory that appears as multiple drives on a computer cannot be used.
4.2. How to check card version
[ROM version]:
You can check the ROM version in service mode, "Firmware Version”

4.3. How to install movie data
Use USB memory to install. For the details, see the Service Manual.
4.4. How to install voice data
The following options are required to use the voice guidance function.
- EK-604/ 605 (local interface kit)
- i-Option LK-104 v3
Use USB memory to install. For the details, see the Service Manual.
4.5. How to install OCR Dictionary Data for Searchable PDF and PDF/A Font Data
Use USB memory to install. For the details, see the Service Manual.
i-Option kit is required to use these functions.
4.6. How to install Unicode Font Data and OCR Font Data
Install Font Data for USB using USB memory.

i-Option kit is required to use these functions
4.7. How to install Loadable Driver
1. Extract the attached exe file and save “xxxxxx.tar” file to root directory of USB memory.
2. Insert the USB memory to USB port of MFP.
3. Call the Service Mode to the screen.
4. Touch [System 2] -> [Driver Install].
5. Touch [SET] and press “Start” button to start installing the data.
6. Check that data is normally installed from the message that appears on the control panel.
7. Turn OFF/ON the main switch.
8. In the Service Mode> Billing Setting> Management Function Choice, select “Card” or “Body” in “Authentication Device2” and press “OK” button.
9. Turn ON/OFF the main switch.
