Mail or drop of at the Town Hall the following”
1. Completed Dog License Renewal/Request Form, see reverse side.
2. A copy of a valid rabies certificate
3. A copy of spay/neuter certificate unless intact.
4. Licensing Fee Per Dog; spayed or neutered $ 5 Intact $15
5. Checks or Money Orders should be made payable to Town of Tolland.
No fee or portion thereof shall be refunded because of subsequent death, loss, spaying or removal from Town or Commonwealth of MA or other disposal of dog.
No fee will be charged for a single dog owned by a person over 70 years of age or for a service animal as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
If you no longer own a previously licensed dog you must notify the Town Clerk to avoid future notices.
Households with four or less dogs licensed after March 15 2017 will be assessed a late fee of $50.00.
Dog licenses run from March 1st through the last day of February the following year.
*If you have more than four dogs or are a commercial boarding or training kennel, a commercial breeder kennel, a domestic charitable corporation kennel, or a veterinary kennel you are required by state law to get a kennel license. Please contact the Town Clerk as soon as possible for application.
