Thank you for your interest in the 2016 Summer Science Research Institute (SSRI).

Please follow these instructions as you complete your application:

1.  Fill out the Main Application as a Microsoft Word document.

2.  Check http://yalessri.com/ regularly for updates.

3.  Your full application, including this document, your resume, your official recommendation, and your transcript must be submitted to SSRI by March 15, 2016 (11:59 PM), by emailing . Please use the subject line “SSRI Application: Your Full Name, Student.” Incomplete applications will not be considered.

5.  The recommendation form can be downloaded from our website, http://yalessri.com/. Your recommendation should be written by a high school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) teacher. Your teacher must submit their recommendation by March 15, 2016 (11:59 PM) by emailing it from their official school email address to with the subject line “SSRI Application: Student’s Full Name, Recommendation.” Ask them to email you after submitting the recommendation, so that you can ensure that it is submitted on time.
