A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in loving memory and honor of James G. "Jimmy" Tanner.

With deepest respect, we pay homage and tribute to James G. "Jimmy" Tanner.

WHEREAS, Jimmy Tanner was born on February 4, 1962, a native of Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky, and traversed these earthly bounds on March 26, 1997; and

WHEREAS, Jimmy Tanner was the loving son of Dorothy and Charles Livings and the late Edward J. Tanner; he was the adored brother of Bruce Tanner and his wife, Regina Tanner; and he was the loving grandson of Mary Denman; and

WHEREAS, Jimmy Tanner was a talented artist by which he communicated and revealed his deeper feelings and visions while conveying his spiritual truth through color, form, and line; and may he celebrate and enjoy forever what he now sees clearly in the beauty of God's presence; and

WHEREAS, all who knew and admired Jimmy Tanner will grieve over their loss, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. This honorable body does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow upon the passing of Jimmy Tanner, and extends to his family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy.

Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of James G. "Jimmy" Tanner.

Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is hereby directed to transmit copies of this Resolution to Mrs. Dorothy Livings and Mrs. Mary Denham, 3108 Vince Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky 40356.
