Bishop 1:Death after life, Heaven and Hell, the second coming of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the rapture, the tribulation, Millennialism, the end of the world , the last Judgment and a new heaven and new earth of the world come.

Bishop 2: there is assurance that there is better life awaiting the saints in glory.

Jesus gives us assurance that he will come and the saints will be rewarded and the wicked will be punished.

7. The extend to which Exegetical teaching of the book of the book of revelation chapter 22 address the second coming of Christ

Bishop 1: To a full percentage and some are meant for a futuristic aspect whereas some are ready happening

Bishop 2: To a great extend as they mention the assurance of his coming (Jesus), the good life of saints, the punishment of the wicked and also need of personal preparation as we await his coming

Bishop 1: The lord is coming soon and he is ready to fulfill his word.

Bishop 2: The coming of Jesus assured and we must be prepared for it.

The text also challenges us to long for his coming.

Bishop 2: As PEFA, we believe that in the second coming of Jesus in the body, power and glory

We believe in rapture of church and period of the great tribulation

We believe in the rewarding of the believers in their judgment and punishment of wicked eternally

10. As a bishop how often do you think your clergy handle the subject of the second coming of Christ?

Bishop 1: we often track the topic in order to balance as we teach all the topics in the bible.

Bishop2: very often, the level of understanding of the topic is low and the perception is that it scary and difficult.

11.Challenges faced in the church in relation to the teachings of Eschatology in your church

Bishop1: Many have different doctrinal backgrounds as far as this topic is concerned, hence many questions during the bible study

Bishop2: lots of clergy hence minimal understanding of the teachings. We are passing congregations who embrace preaching more than teaching since preaching is easier than teaching.

12. Strategies that need to be put in PEFA church of encourage preaching the second coming of Christ:

Bishop1: compulsory teaching month of eschatology or bring in a teacher like, Rev. Bishop; George Muguro.

Bishop2: Encourage more teaching not preaching pastor to be educated on the doctrine so that they can pass it on.

13. Implication of the approach that has been used to address the subject of eschatology teaching

Bishop1: Raised questions like “where do people go when they die? is hell real, is heaven real etc.

Bishop2: The approach adopted by some people has been more in identifying the antichrist rather than giving the believer the course on the subject

The approach has led to limited knowledge of the subject and miss-representation of the scripture.
