The Office of School Improvement is pleased to offer an array of professional development opportunities for all teachers on the District Professional Development Day, November 4, 2014 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Professional Development topics were identified to support the schools in the implementation of the selected strategies reflected on their Action Plans.
In addition to the Professional Development provided by district curriculum support specialists, we will be conducting our first annual Instructional Showcase. Schools participating in the Instructional Showcase were selected as a result of observations made during the Instructional Review process. These schools are creating and offering their own Professional Development based on their identified strengths open to all instructional personnel.
In an effort to take advantage of the variety of Professional Development being provided across the district, all teachers and instructional staff are encouraged to visit the PD Portal to review all Professional Development being provided by the content-specific offices.
