The PSAC will be conducting Political Outreach training Wednesday August 12, 2015 from 9:30am until 5:00pm at the at the Caboto Club, 2175 Parent Ave. Windsor, Ontario. Your Loss of Salary will be covered and other expenses will be reimbursed as per the PSAC Travel Policy.

The PSAC is seeking someone to co-ordinate the election campaign locally in Windsor. The position is from Sept 14-Oct 14. While one candidate for the entire time is ideal, if you are unable to commit for the full amount, a 2 week or more period would also be acceptable.

If you are interested, please contact Todd Woytiuk by Aug 1.

The candidate would ideally have some political action background or would be involved in the union (steward, exec member, activist).

Windsor Pride will take place August 9, 2015 @ 11am.

Labour day cakes will once again be available to locals who wish to participate. The event will take place Thursday September 3, 2015. Each local requires a contact person in order to invite the representatives of Area Council to the workplace.

On July 8, 2015 PSAC members picketed with striking workers from Loeblaw’s. The goal was to show union support to our fellow union workers.

Round Table

PSAC will be holding a Health and Safety Conference November 14, 2015 at the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre. The deadline to register for the conference is August 7, 2015. The conference is available to all members.
