Students will learn by hands on experience, research topics and prepare typed reports, and weekly lesson worksheets and written tests. We will also be strengthening your keyboarding skills. The first ten minutes of each class you will go to and take keyboard timings. I will record your words per minute score each day and grade each week on the grading scale below. This is 25% of your grade.
I have provided copies of the worksheets and projects on my website Click on the high school link and then the Classrooms link. Scroll down to my name. Click on the Intro to Computers link. You will also find the Assignment guide with due dates posted for each chapter.
Expectations:
- Please do your best. If you don’t understand something, please ask for help.
- Use the Internet only when directed by me.
- Personal E-mail is strictly prohibited as per the Bagley Jr./Sr. High Acceptable Use Policy. Please use your student gmail account.
- Food and drink are not allowed in the lab.
- Please respect other’s rights and privacy.
Grading: You will be graded on the above tasks and there will also be a portion of your grade based on your behavior! So remember, when hands go up, mouths go shut and eyes are on me!

**Timings will be 25% of your grade. The grade breakdown for timings is as follows:
Each week you will receive a timing grade. Following is the point breakdown:

The daily work will be worth 75%.
