CLUB HOURS
The clubhouse will be open every Tuesday night from 18H00 until 20H00.
We host a 4km and 8km Time Trial starting at 18H00. Times will be published in the Citizen and Alberton Record. You will be informed of any special events happening by sms or emailed newsletter.

Porters Auto/ADT Fred Morrison 15km
Thank you to all the club members who participated in the AAAC clubrun at the Fred Morrison 15km from Germiston Stadium on 5 September 2010. It was quite a struggle to keep such a big group of varied paced runners together but we managed to cross the finish line as a group of +-30 AAAC runners in a time of 1hr44min much to the delight of the announcer and the spectators.

Wildcoast Wildrun
The Wildrun is fast becoming one of the most sought-after multi-day wilderness trail running events in the World. Runners run solo for 112km over three days along arguably the most beautiful and scenic coastline in South Africa – the Transkei Wild Coast starting at the Great Kei River; roughly 80km north of East London, and finishing at the Hole-in-the-Wall. Mont-Aux-Sources Challenge

Thule 4 Peaks Mountain Challenge: 25 September 2010
The route covers a distance of 24 km, traversing parts of the Witteberg mountain range and following the high skyline and ridges for most of the distance. The terrain is very rough over sections of the route. The route is not marked (GPS route download will be available). While the top competitors manage to finish the race in less than 3 ½ hours, the challenge for the more average people is to do it in less than 9 hours. Participants must be totally self-sustainable and carry his/her own water/fluids for the total distance. There is no water along the route.

Comrades Marathon 29 May 2011
Entries for the 2011 Comrades Marathon opened on 1 September 2010 and will close on 30 November 2010.
Entries will be limited to a maximum of 18 000 and no extensions will be entered into.
Current entry count is just over 7000.
NO entries will be taken in 2011.
Runners will be able to enter before they qualify. This means runners who entered will still be allowed to qualify in official qualifying races up until the 6 May 2011.
Runners who successfully finished the 2010 Comrades Marathon can use their finishing time as a qualifier
for 2011.
Upon qualification, runners simply need to submit the time and details of the qualifying race through to the CMA office. Upon receiving the qualifying information the runner’s entry will be confirmed.
