Request for Statement of Qualifications
For Professional Hydrographic Surveying Services
A Professional Services Notice is hereby given that statement of qualifications (SOQ) and performance data are required by the Sebastian Inlet District Commission on the project described below:
DESCRIPTION: The Sebastian Inlet District is requesting SOQ’s to perform work as follows: Professional hydrographic surveying services are required for general purposes, as well as meeting the requirements of permits issued to the District to support construction projects pursued by the District and as otherwise may be required by the District. Professional hydrographic survey services are sought for a period of two (2) years with an option by the District to extend these services for an additional three (3) years. This announcement is to solicit submittals by qualified hydrographic survey consultants who are registered with the State of Florida. Firms responding to this SOQ for hydrographic surveys shall provide a sealed package including: 1) a letter of interest with a detailed discussion of the firm’s relevance to the District’s Ranking Criteria; 2)copies of the certificate of registration with the State of Florida Department of Professional Regulations Board of Land Surveyors and;3)copies of up-to-date forms GSA 255 and 254 FS330. Three (3) complete sets of the qualifying data must be submitted with the letter of interest. Cost and other evaluation criteria will conform to minimum acceptable standards for the professional field of endeavor as well as the District’s specific Ranking Criteria and Score Sheet for this SOQ. Prior, professional experience in the field of hydrographic surveying is a requirement for consideration. All items must be received in the office of the Sebastian Inlet District Commission, Attn.: David Kershaw, Sr. Contracts Manager, 114 Sixth Avenue, Indialantic, FL 32903 on or before4:30 P.M., Friday, March 30, 2018.
APPLICATION: Interested surveyors, surveying firms and/or groups wishing to provide the needed services must obtain and fully comply with the requirements listed above. All statements of qualifications and performance data will be evaluated pursuant to applicable Florida statutes.This SOQ’s selection criteria may be viewed on the District’s website ( under the Meetings and NoticesTab.Up to three (3) responsive and responsible service providers will be selected by the District in April 2018.
