CEDCB FINALS DAY 2014

AT BENTLEY CRICKET CLUB

The finals of all three CEDCB Youth Cup Competitions will be held on Sunday 7th September 2014 at Bentley Cricket Club. The U9s will be a playoff of each Division Winners and Runners Ups.The league champions of each division in each age group will be awarded their trophies during the lunch interval. The schedule of events is as follows (timings are approximate)

Clubs should make every effort to ensure the Team Manager, Coach or other club official and at least one player is present to receive the league trophy.

Bentley Cricket Club’s bar will be open throughout the day. Tea, coffee and hot and cold food will also be available for purchase. Officials, players, families and friends from all member clubs of the CEDCB are welcome.

Officials, players and spectators should make themselves aware of the location of the first-aid facility.

CEDCB will provide ACU Umpires for each of the three finals. Clubs should provide their own scorer. Don’t forget the retire rule U11/U13 retire at 30 and U15 retire at 50 and you can’t come back in. 4 overs maximum per bowler.

Clubs participating in the Under 9 playoffs should provide their own umpire and scorer. The U9 playoffs will be 10 a side hardball terriers cricket, 2 over a pair, 10 over matches (everyone must bowl one over except the wicketkeeper). Please note the earlier start of 9.30am for the U9 matches.

Please note NO DOGS ALLOWED AT BENTLEY CRICKET CLUB.

Clubs wishing to host the Finals Day in 2015 should apply in writing (by email) to Jan West, CEDCB Youth Organiser, before 31st October 2014. Only clubs able to provide two adjacent turf pitches should apply.
