Dear parent,

Green Olympiad Registration for Level 1, 2 and 3

The GREEN Olympiad is organized annually by a Govt. of India Undertaking "TERI" since 1999. This examination covers several contemporary issues related to environment and sustainability. This programme has received support from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) Delhi, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), and several other education boards / trusts.The GREEN Olympiad is also endorsed by ‘UNESCO- DESD’.

  1. The examination is open ONLY for schools affiliated to a recognized education boards/trusts.
  2. The students are registered for 3 levels. ‘Level 1’ (students from classes 4 and 5), ‘Level 2’ (students from classes 6, 7 and 8), ‘Level 3’ (students from classes 9 and 10).
  3. All participants are given Certificates of participation, merit or distinction depending on their individual performance and schools / students. Those who excel in this examination are also felicitated.
  4. For sample papers and other updates, please check the project website .on regular basis.
  5. Each participating student has to pay K.D. 2/- as ‘registration feein the office to Mrs. Rini.
  6. The theme of Olympiad is " Environment and sustainable development".
  7. Examination will be held on 25th October, 2017 (Wednesday). The duration of the examination will be 1 hour, from 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m.
  8. Last date for registration is 31st May, 2017. Parents are requested to encourage students to take part in this competition.
