The process for both users with experience in using ETO and those new to the system are below.

Process for WIPA Project Staff with No Previous ETO Experience:

  1. Upon receipt of your WIPA laptop please first contact the WIPA Technical Helpdesk at
1-855-816-0890 to register your machine and retrieve your ETO account username and password. Your new ETO username and password will give you access to the WIPA Training module which you may use to assist in training and getting acclimated with the system.
  2. Use the links provided on the VCU-NTC website to access the below training sessions:

-ETO for WIPA Training: Training covering the basic use and navigation of ETO.

-Entering Data in ETO to Accurately Reflect WIPA Service Delivery: Training that provides how to incorporate ETO data entry into the normal course of service delivery. Training is intended to compliment the ETO for WIPA training.

Both sessions must be completed prior to gaining access to your associated WIPA site in ETO to enter data.

  1. Once you have completed both sessions you will need to inform your designated Project Officer via email. In the subject line please include “Completed ETO for WIPA Training” and include your first and last name, provided ETO username, and associated WIPA project in the body.
  2. Your Project Officer will then inform the WIPA Technical Help Desk to activate your ETO account so that you can begin entering data. It will take up to 48 hours to complete the request.
  3. Once your request is completed you will have access to your associated WIPA project site in ETO to begin entering data. Note that access to the WIPA Training site will be removed.
