The Assistant Principal Learning and Support will support schools to provide direct and timely assistance to students with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.

Position Criteria:

  1. Knowledge and experience of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs for students with additional learning needs.
  1. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
  1. Knowledge and understanding of relevant disability legislation.
  1. Working knowledge of the Every Student Every School framework for learning.
  1. Enhancing professional learning across the delivery of a range of programs: online learning, non-violent crisis intervention and the development of learning and support plans.
  1. Ability to travel between worksites
