Welcome to the New World. All of the Cycle of Transformation retreats are produced exclusively by unpaid volunteers from the Last Mask Community. Once you have entered the cycle, you too will become a part of this community, and so it is important that you know that the retreats, their profits and their losses, belong to the students—to you. The retreats are not a business*, and are not for profit, but rather are an immersive experience designed to impart the cycle teachings to you, thereby supporting you living your soul’s purpose. Part of that is also learning to live in community (even virtually) and working together to make our shared vision manifest.
This also means that students like you are giving their time, energy, and resources to make your retreat happen, so your timely action and attention to instructions is your first lesson in conserving our resource rich environment and living sustainably. This basic capacity is essential as a foundation to actually living in ayni, gratitude-reciprocity-beauty.
Land Spirit Council welcomes you to this step on your journey of living your soul’s purpose with Love, Wisdom, Power, and Vision. Land Spirit Council (LSC) is the council within the LMCommunity responsible for retreat production and maintaining right relationship with the Great Spirits of the Land to garner their support for successful retreats, like yours.
Money holds energy and, as such, it is sacred and a worthy sacrifice. When you register and pay with intention, you are directing your helping spirits and your ancestors to help manifest this retreat in the physical world for you. These are acts of warriorship such as a shamanic life is built on.
Your retreat fee covers lodging, food, supplies, and all the various expenses associated with producing a retreat of this quality – essentially everything but your travel. You are presented options that will increase or decrease your tuition.
Your Basic Tuition includes your sacrifice to the shaman, prep material and follow-up material. This payment is separate (page 3) and goes directly to the shaman.
Three Money Things That Matter (everything effects everything).
1. Retreats with less than 8 people are not viable energetically for the shaman or the community. Therefore retreats without 8 deposits ($300) by 5 months before the retreat begins will not be produced.
2. People who do not commit or take action deplete the resources of our community and neglect their responsibility of understanding that everything affects everything. Those who pay in full on time receive a $150 discount. Those who pay after January 4, 2017, pay full price. Registration ends and full payment due by February 4, 2017.
3. Refunds are offered in accordance with the contract with the retreat site.
Dietary restrictions.
No red meat or pork is served at retreats. The common restrictions (Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Nightshades, Vegetarian) are easily catered to. If you have restrictions beyond the usual, please email LSC who will confirm with the caterers. If they cannot be covered you will be informed and a way to help you meet your needs will be arranged. Please communicate directly with LSC via e-mail (Refer to Registration Procedure #2 below) to confirm that raw food or vegan diets can be accommodated for this retreat.

(*) The Cycle Teachings began in 1990 as one expression of spirit brought through in the work of Christina Pratt. As such they were part of Last Mask Center (LMC), which at this time is our only legal entity. In 2008 the Last Mask Community formation began and in 2009 the Cycle Teachings were given to the LMCommunity, which is not yet a legal entity. Therefore all checks are still made out to Last Mask Center, however LMCommunity and its funds are separate from LMC and its funds.
Registration Procedure:
1. Complete all parts of this form and email to, , and (LSC contact Susan Hopper, LMCommunity Treasurer Renate Grundstrom and Christina Pratt, Shaman.) You are not registered until we receive your form no matter how much money you send.
2. All questions about payment and logistics also go to LSC, contact is Susan Hopper, .
3. Send your retreat fees (page 2) to our LMCommunity Treasurer, Renate Grundstrom. Checks should be made out to Last Mask Center, and sent c/o Renate Grundstrom, 2034 Hatch Rd, Novato CA 94947. If paying by PayPal . See #7 below regarding PayPal fees.
4. Your tuition and sacrifice to the Shaman goes directly to the Shaman. Checks should be made out to Last Mask Center, and sent to Last Mask Center, 2343 SE 44th Ave, Portland, OR 97215. If paying by PayPal . See #7 below regarding PayPal fees.
5. You may break your fee into as many payments as you like. You do not need to resend the form with your additional payments.
6. You may use PayPal to pay by credit card or other funding method, but your registration will not be accepted without including the PayPal fee. PayPal will not indicate at the time of payment that there is a fee (as it is charged on the receiving end.) Regardless, it is your responsibility. The fee in the U.S. is $0.30 USD plus 2.9% of the amount you send. For example, if you are paying $100.00 USD, the fee would be $3.20 USD ($2.90 + $0.30) for a total of $103.20.

(At this point you may be thinking, “Can’t these people streamline this process and this ridiculous form! Can’t I just register online?”
Yes, we can. And we did. And we have learned from that choice that making it overly easy allows you to go forth unconsciously. It allows you to disengage from understanding things like the distinction between an energy exchange with your teacher and paying for your room and board. It allows you to treat the community members who are creating a powerful and beautiful transformational experience for you like a faceless business entity whose energy you can waste. It allows you to disengage from the fact that your every action affects everything.
For example, there is a minimum fee we request for the shaman. Let’s call it X. It is different for every retreat. The shaman is leading people through a process. It takes the same amount of energy to create that process for 8 or for 28. So when people are slow to send in their deposits and we have only 8, the number X is divided by 8 and that number is used for pricing the retreat. If 28 people have sent in their deposits then X is divided by 28 and that number is used for pricing. Everyone’s actions affect the cost of your retreat.
It is LSC’s commitment to our vision to produce the Cycle Retreats as a living expression of the Cycle Teachings. As such even your registration is an opportunity to choose to live the teachings in the consciousness required to take the steps and in the awareness that these actions are acts of power and sacrifice.)
Tuition:
Your tuition is a sacrifice to the spirit world. It is an offering to the shaman who leads you through the retreat’s teachings. As soon as you pay your deposit you are placed on the altar and become part of the manifestation of the teachings. You are welcome to sacrifice more for the work if you choose to.
Any sacrifice from the heart communicates directly to the spirit world. You clarify your desires and commit to co-creating your retreat experience. A true sacrifice communicates your heart and your mind. Through your sacrifice you are saying to the spirit world “I am stepping up here. Please meet me.” More is not necessarily better. The spirit world conserves energy; it does not appreciate excess or spiritual ambition. Feel free to offer more of a sacrifice to the shaman if you are called to and if you are able.

Release and Assumption of Risk
I, double click here and enter full name, am aware that during Masks of Illusion (herein “Retreat”), that I am participating in, certain risks may occur, including but not limited to, hiking, swimming, forces of nature, travel by air, or automobile, loss of or damage to personal property, exposure to inclement weather and other risks and dangers. In consideration of, and as part of payment for, the right to participate in the Retreat, I do hereby assume all risks, and release and waive all claims against Christina Lee Pratt, and El Rancho Robles, and will hold them harmless from any and all liability, action, cause of action, debts, negligence, claims, demands and damages of every kind or nature whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, contingent, consequential or otherwise, against them, which I now have or which may arise out of, or be brought by a third party in connection with, my participation in the Retreat .
This agreement shall serve as a release, assumption of risk, and hold harmless provision for me, my heirs, and all members of my family. I have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
