T1.1 : TENDER NOTICE AND INVITATION TO TENDER

The BREEDE VALLEY MUNICIPALITY invites tenders for Tender no: BV 590: DE DOORNS MATERIAL RECOVERY FACILITY PHASE 1: PUBLIC DROP-OFF.
It is estimated that tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3CE or higher.
Only tenderers who satisfy the eligibility criteria stated in the Tender Conditions and Tender Data are eligible to submit tenders.
All bids received shall be evaluated in terms of the Breede Valley Municipality’s Supply Chain Management Policy and the Preferential Procurement Regulations (2011) pertaining to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (Act No. 5 of 2000).
Preference points shall be awarded as follows:

·  B-BBEE Status Level of Contribution 10

Documents may be collected between 9:00 to 15:30 at Breede Valley Municipality from Monday, 3 April 2017. Enquiries relating to the issuing of the bid documents shall be directed to Mr Wilfred Bells at 023-348 2954 or .
Payment of a non-refundable tender deposit of R228-00 is payable by bank guaranteed cheques made payable to Breede Valley Municipality, on collection of tender documents.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the Employer will take place on Tuesday 11 April 2017, starting at 14:00 at the De Doorns Municipal Offices, 4 La Rochelle Road, De Doorns. Tenderers who arrive later than 14:15 will not be allowed into the clarification meeting.
The closing time for receipt of tenders is 11h00 on Friday, 21 April 2017 after which the tender will be opened in public. Tenders, in sealed envelopes, marked “BID NUMBER BV 590: DE DOORNS MATERIAL RECOVERY FACILITY PHASE 1: PUBLIC DROP-OFF” must be placed in the tender box at the Municipal Supply Chain Offices, Breede Valley Municipality, 23 Baring Street, Worcester.
Telegraphic, telephonic, telex, facsimile, e-mail and late tenders will not be accepted.
Tenders may only be submitted on the original tender documentation that is issued from Breede Valley Municipality.
Council may accept the tender in full, partially or not at all. Council also reserves the right not to accept the lowest tender.
