6 Session GP (Maternity Cover)
£8275 per session per annum
To start December 2015 for up to 1 year.
We are looking to appoint a six session GP with an interest in health inequalities on a fixed term contract or as a long term locum to cover maternity leave anticipated to start in December 2015.
Derby Road Health Centre is a GP Practice and has existed for over a hundred years and has a reputation locally for providing high quality general practice to a varied population. We serve a very wider mix of patients with 25% being non-white British and also a high student population. The current list size of Derby Road Health Centre is just under 10,000, and we work from modern purpose built premises.
The Partnership is made up of 5 clinical partners. Together, the Partners run Derby Road Health Centre (a traditional GMS Practice) and Grange Farm Medical Centre (an APMS practice) in Bilborough, Nottingham. We hope that the successful applicant will become very much one of the practice team for the duration of this maternity cover.
The successful applicant will be predominantly based at Derby Road Health Centre but will need to be prepared to work flexibly across our two practices should the need arise. There will also be an expectation to work as part of the extended hours provision and complete paperwork, your share of visits and prescriptions with respect of each of your sessions.
The ideal working pattern will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday AM and PM.
