IV.APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
- Consider approval of Ordinance 2 dated February 3, 2010
V.VISITORS
- Jake Goldstein, 7th grader at Augusta Middle School and regional winner of the League of Municipalities annual “If I Were Mayor” Essay Contest, will be present to be recognized by the Governing Body and to read his essay.
(Visitors may be recognized at this time to address the Governing Body regarding items not specifically listed on the Agenda – 5 minute limit)

- Consider approval of the following:
- Request from Williams Petroleum to provide electric service to their storm water pumps.
- A letter agreement with Westar Energy that would transfer electric service for the Williams Petroleum pumps to the City of Augusta.
- Consider authorizing the Southwest Power Pool Metering Project and the approval of Mid-States Energy Works as the contractor for this project.
- Consider proposals for a Quonset style metal building for the Electric Distribution Department.
- Consider bids for an equipment trailer for the Electric Departments.
- Consider approval of the League of Municipalities “Code of Procedure”.
- Consider recommendations for new Sanitation Rates.
- Consider approval of appointments to the Butler County Solid Waste Committee.
- Consider approval of the annual Operation and Maintenance Agreement with Kansas Wildlife and Parks.
- Consider scheduling a work session for 7 p.m. on Monday, March 8, 2010 to review and discuss the levee project.
