OBjective

My objective is to work with children and their families in order to improve their understanding of disease processes, surgical interventions, medications, and treatments; and to assist them in attaining the optimal level of independence in meeting their health care goals. I strive to use my experience as a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner to make even overwhelming tasks seem possible through child/family directed teaching that is structured, straightforward, and supportive. I enjoy working as part of a team along with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other nurse practitioners to provide the best care for children and families.
