Process: You will construct your final essay in stages. First, you will write three power paragraphs that analyze how one character uses each rhetorical appeal. Based on your analysis, you will use textual evidence to determine which type of appeal is most effective or successful at persuading others. You will write a power paragraph that explains your evaluation. Then, you will weave your rhetorical appeal paragraphs into a larger essay that includes an introduction and conclusion (part of your evaluation paragraph).

Format Requirements: Your essay must be in MLA format. You will include proper in-text citations as well as a Works Cited page. Your final essay must be submitted to Turnitin before midnight on December 13.
