This deed is sale of Bryant Vickers property in Concord, Florida by heirs to his son Drewary Vickers.

This Indenture made this the 2nd ay of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty one, between Francis Vickers, Walter Walsh, (ISC ??)Walch, his wife, Abel Strickland and Fanny Strickland, his wife, W. W. Johnson and I Arinna Vickers, his wife, Ezekel Vickers and I_____, his wife, and Jordan Vickers and Mary Vickers, his wife, all of the State and County aforesaid, parties of the first part, and Drewary Vickers of the State and County aforesaid, party of the second part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred twenty five and no dollars, to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivery of these presents by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant, bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever, all that certain pieces or parcels of land lying and being in the state and county aforesaid and known, distinguished as the East one half of the Northeast quarter of Section 17 in township three north of Range one West, containing seventy acres more or less, and the West one half of the Northwest quarter of Section 26 in township three of range one North and West containing seventy acres more or less. To have and to hold all of the aforesaid granted premises together with all the premises, appurtenances and hereditaments thereto belonging, and the said parties of the first part doth hereby covenant and agree with the said party of the second part that they will warrant and forever defend the rights and title of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, forever, to the aforesaid granted premises, against the claims of themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, and all other persons whatsoever.
In Testimony whereof, the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and affixed there the day and year first above written.

Johnson, I, Arina Vickers the wife of Ezekiel Vickers, I Mary Vickers the wife of Jourden Vickers, hereby relinquish all of our rights and claims to Dower the foregoing warranted premises to Drewery Vickers, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof we have hereunto affixed our hand and seal, December3, A. D. 1861.

I, A. Bowen an acting as one of the Justices of Peace in and for said county, do hereby certify that I have examined Sarah Walsh, the wife of Walter Walsh, and the wife of Abel Strickland, Lucy Strickland, the wife of W. W. Johnson, Frances Johnson, the wife of Ezekel Vickers, Arinia Vickers and the wife of JourdenVickers, Mary Vickers separately and apart from their husbands, and they say that they signed their claims of dower by their own free wills without fear or compulsion of their husbands, and I saw the said Frances Vickers, Walter Walsh, Abel Strickland, W. W. Johnson, Ezekel Vickers andJourden Vickers and their wives sign the------illegible-torn and faded). I also saw John Johnson sign the same.

Note by B. P. Boynton: Mary Vickers and Ezekiel Vickers were children of Joshua and Martha “Patsy” Vickers. Francis Vickers was the widow of Bryant Vickers. Children of Bryant Vickers were: Jourden, Drewary, Arinna(Arrena), Sarah, Frances and Lucy.
