Now your group will connect 6 different events of your revolution to the laws of motion, friction, or other physics concepts. EXAMPLE CONNECTION: One event we can use is the Storming of the Bastille, because it is an important event of our revolution, and we can connect it to the idea of Newton’s First Law of Motion, because the Upper Class didn’t change unfair laws until that force was applied.
EXAMPLE METAPHOR: Old Regime France was a ball at the top of a hill. The Upper Class had the power to change society, but didn’t want to give up their wealth & privilege so France stayed that way. Then Lower Classes applied the force, with the Storming of the Bastille, to send the Old Regime downhill.
