The donors may accelerate the completion of this pledge at the donors’ discretion.
The purpose of this pledge is to increasethe general scholarship programs of BSUF. The funds annual distributions will support undergraduate scholarships for students enrolled at BowieStateUniversity.
The purpose of this pledge is to establish an endowed fund as described above. The funds annual distribution will support undergraduate scholarships for students enrolled at BowieStateUniversity. The endowed funds will be managed by the University System of Maryland Foundation, Inc. in accordance with the Foundation’s investment and disbursement policies and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA). The fund may be combined with other assets for investment purposes. The total return earned by the Fund, in excess of the payout amount provided for expenditure, will be retained to protect the corpus principal from the effects of inflation. The donor is aware that this gift will comply with current policy and administrative guidelines of the University, that the naming is subject to approval by the president, and that this gift will be subject to the University’s administrative fee policies for gifts to the campus.
