Eligibility: Open to any girl who attends an Indiana school in grades K-12. Home-schooled girls are eligible if they are residents of Indiana and in the equivalent of grades K-12 – must be under the age of 19 as of July 30, 2015 and must not have enrolled in college coursesprior to June 1, 2014.

Entry fee: $15 if postmarked by March27, 2015.

No on-site entries. Entries can be confirmed online at scichess.org.

Awards: To the top 10 players. The Indiana Girls State Champion will be eligible to attend either or both:Susan Polgar Foundation Girls’ Invitational (SPFGI), St. Louis, MO, late July and the USCF National Girls Invitational Tournament (NGIT), Orlando, FL, late July-early August.

In the event of an undefeated tie (4-0), a 5-minute per person playoff will decide the champion. If the tie includes a draw or loss, then tiebreaks will decide the champion (Modified Median, Solkoff, Cumulative, Cumulative of Opposition).

Players should arrive and check in at West 86 Clubhouse between 9:30-9:45 a.m. (Eastern) on March 15.The first round will begin at 10:00 a.m.with other rounds ASAP. Tournament will be completed 3:30-4:00 p.m.
