UPDATE / End of year items were discussed, last day of term Friday June 24th (early dismissal).
Upcoming events
· Grade 5 graduation – GreenHill Lake outing (June 21st) and Graduation Day (June 23rd)
· Grade 3 French immersion classes are going to St. John. H&S will help cover the cost of the bus
· Grade 2 tour to Mactaquac – H&S will help cover the cost of the bus ($60)
· Tracy Douglas (Grade 4) would like an electric sharpner and 3-hole punch for the classroom – H&S will cover the cost (will be ordered by the school), estimated $100
· Battery and pads in the AED need to replaced ($164 and $72 respec.) – to be ordered from St. John Ambulance by the school, H&S will cover this cost
Fall corn boil - September 13th 2016 – this will be an “open house” where people can drop into the classrooms, meet the teachers and attend the corn boil - rolls and water to be supplied by H&S

Upcoming expenses:
o Grade 3 end of year tour – bus cost
o Grade 2 end of year tour – bus cost $60
o Classroom equipment for Grade 4 class c. $100
o Risers have arrived, but not been paid for yet
o Some NSF chqs were received for the seeds
o $2000 to pay for seeds
o Grade 5 Greenhill Lake - $1800
o Misc. Grade 5 celebration items (cake, awards etc.), up to $400
o Grades K-2 Funday June 15th – popsicles, bubbles?, up to $150

Grade 5 graduation ceremony will take place Thursday 23rd June
DISCUSSION / · Krista brought in 5x$10 Chapters gift cards
· Cake from the Co-op – would need the number – Bre is going to get it from the Superstore instead on the 22nd – the logo etc will be printed on rice paper at Scoop and Save
Volunteers – 1 email from a parent in Grade 4, might be more somewhere else – needs to be investigated
Need to check to see if we have enough plates and tablecloths etc.
Decorations – how to decorate? Banners made by a teacher – could use these
Balloons? $2 each
Ice-cream - Jody volunteered to pick up ice-cream. Angela texted her during tonight’s meeting to remind her - she will deliver it to the school before 7pm on the Wednesday night
Ice-cream scoops – volunteers will need to bring in scoops if possible
To-Do / · Volunteers - Jen to send out SignUp genius if there are not enough volunteers at this stage
· Cake – Bre is going to get it from the Superstore on the 22nd, drop it at the school
· Ice-cream – Jody volunteered at the last meeting to do this

AGENDA ITEM / Movie night – JUNE 17TH ZOOTOPIA
DISCUSSION and TO-DO List / · Movie - Jen Wheaton to pick up the movie
· Pizza - Angela to get the pizza from Pizza Hut – same order as last time – hopefully also will give us plates (need 200 plates)
· Popcorn - Michelle Fyffe, 2 bags of popcorn – Amy Neal’s husband to pick up from the Base - Plus use one popcorn machine that night
· Bre to get some popcorn cups – could use big sytrofoam cups instead to cut down the amount being given out at a given time
· Need Bowls for the treats
· No water or juice boxes in H&S storage – Jen to bring those or maybe Angela or maybe Amy…..
· Volunteers – Angela, Krista, Jody – Jen will send out a SignUp Genius to get more volunteers
· Jen – needs a float for the movie night, plus two money boxes

UPDATE / Krista is compiling a promotion video/presentation, with the aim of highlighting H&S activities and involvement in the school. She is hoping to get it ready for the Corn boil – it could be shown in the background She found some pictures on Twitter etc but is looking for photographs of specific activies:
· Howlfest,
· Tree lighting
· Ski day
· Tomato/Tomato
· Tree plantings for retirees
· Staff appreciation week
