Willis Towers Watson announces Andrew Boal as new leader of Australasia

Sydney, 15 September, 2016 — Willis Towers Watson (NASDAQ: WLTW), the leading global advisory, broking and solutions company, has appointed Andrew Boal as Regional Head of Australasia, following the departure of Tony Barber.

Based in Melbourne, Boal takes up the role with immediate effect. He most recently served as Head of Large Accounts for Australasia and General Manager of Corporate Risk & Broking for Victoria and has been with the company for 24 years.

Adam Garrard, Head of Willis Towers Watson’s International business, said: “Andrew is well respected for his strong leadership, client relationships and ability to develop strategic solutions for clients. He brings to the role a high level of expertise in superannuation, employee benefits, HR services and investment, together with a strong knowledge of the company’s corporate risk and broking operations, which he has actively developed since the Willis Towers Watson merger occurred in January.

“I look forward to a continued focus on growing our business in Australasia and am confident in Andrew’s further success with Willis Towers Watson, as our new leader for the region.” He continued: “I would also like to thank Tony for his leadership and contribution over the last four years with the company and wish him well for the future.”

Andrew Boal commented: “We continue to see a lot of untapped potential in Australasia for the integrated propositions that Willis Towers Watson is delivering for clients worldwide.
