Tour du Chocolat 2011Participant Form

Please indicate the category in which you would like to participate in Tour du Chocolat 2011. Event takes place at The Tower Theatre on Friday, April 1st 2001 Doors open at 6:00 to public.

Please select from the following categories:

  • Professional
  • No entry fee to participate – Judging is optional
  • Your creation must be made in a recognized professional facility (Health Dept Standards apply)
  • No Chef attendance at your table necessary, however you will be given 2 complimentary tickets to encourage attendance at the event.
  • Provision requirements are (1) Display creation to be admired, judged, and raffled. (1) Bulk batch of same creation to be cut / portioned into a minimum of 200-300 bite sized samples. Larger sample batches always welcomed! *Due to health codes, no items requiring refrigeration are allowed.
  • Student
  • No entry fee to participate – Judging is optional
  • Your creation must be made in a recognized school-affiliated facility (Health Dept Standards apply)
  • No attendance at your creation necessary. You will be offered a free admission to come back and attend the event.
  • You may work as individuals, or in teams of two, to make your creation.
  • Provision requirements are (1) Display creation to be admired, and judged (separate from Professionals), and raffled. (1) Bulk batch of same creation to be cut / portioned into a minimum of 150 bite sized pieces. *Due to health code, no items requiring refrigeration are allowed.
  • Vendor
  • Entry fee of $250, for which you will receive a position in the lobby or balcony

with a 6 foot table, linen, and 2 chairs. *This event is limited to (4) vendor positions.

  • Attendance required at your table for duration of event.
  • Product signage limited to what you can sit on, or attach to, your 6’ table. No easels or hanging signs.
  • Tower Theatre respectfully requires that 15% of any sales be donated back to the Tower Theatre Foundation at the conclusion of the event.
  • Your offering must be made in a recognized professional facility, and pre-packaged for display or sale. (Health Dept Standards apply)

*This information is critical, as you will have a sign custom made to sit at your table describing your creation. The more detailed, the better! Thank you.

Important details about the event:

  • Please plan to deliver your finished creation to The Tower Theatre between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1st.
  • Please clearly mark any dishes, pans, display items so they can be returned to you.
  • Please plan to retrieve your dishes, pans, etc… during box office hours on Monday, April 3rd (10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
  • Judging will take place at 4:00 p.m. prior to event start. Please attend the event to see if you’ve won!
