4.A window willappear for youtocreateyournew account.Youwillneedtofillinthetopportionof thewindow withyourName,e-mailaddress, andtheUserName andPasswordyouwouldliketocreate.Onthebottomportion of thescreen, youwillneedtoenterthename of yourstudent(s)withtheUserName(AccessID) andUserPassword(AccessPassword)giventoyouinthelettersenthomeinformingyouof the new ParentAccess.Youwillalsoneedtofillinyourrelationshiptothestudentfromthedropdownmenu.Clickthe“Enter”buttonwhenyouhavecompleted the forms.

5.Onceyouhavecreatedyour new account,youwillnowsee your student(s)listedjustunderthePowerSchoollogointheParentPortalasseenbelow:

Toview yourindividualstudent’sinformation, justclickontheirname tab. You will eventually be able to add all your children on the same account as other Stokes County Schools provide you with AccessID and Password for their individual school.

6.Youcanview youraccountinformationanytimebyclickingontheAccountPreferencesicononthe toptoolbar as indicatedbelow. (If youeverneedtoaddadditionalstudentstoyouraccount, youcanaddthemunderAccountPreferencesaswell.)

7.IntheeventyouhaveforgottenyourUserName or Passwordfor thisnewaccount,onthe mainPowerSchoolParentPortallogonscreenyouwillseealinkthatstates, “Havingtroubleloggingin?”asindicated below:

8.Onthe RecoverAccountLoginInformationscreen, youwillbeabletoselectone oftwotaboptions.Thefirsttab shouldbeusedif youforgotyour Passwordandthesecondtabshouldbeusedif youforgotyourUserNameandPasswordasindicatedbelow:

Pleasenote: Anemailwillbesenttoyou withtheappropriateinformationregardingyouraccount.Thisemailwillbe the oneyouindicatedwhenyousetuptheaccountforthe firsttime.
