GEC’s Rapid Repair Center Guidelines
In order to ensure the health and safety of our employees and to conform to State and Federal laws, GEC now requires that all equipment sent in for repair and evaluation is flushed to remove any hazardous materials. GEC requests that all customers provide information about the material that was being processed with the subject equipment. GEC requests information on the material, such as a MSDS sheet, if available, for the products they are processing. GEC will put this information on file so the information can be referred to if the same type of material/equipment is repaired in the future.
Attached is a repair/evaluation form. To help avoid any delays, please fill out as much information as possible. Once information has been entered (Leaving the GEC Tag/Job Number blank), enter your name and date on the bottom of the form. Your entered name implies that the equipment has been flushed and neutralized, and that the product information is accurate.
The completed Repair Evaluation document and MSDS sheet can be emailed to . The information can also be faxed to (716) 681-9892, or sent along with the equipment. By providing GEC with this information, you are helping us keep our employees safe, the environment clean, and allow GEC to have a better understanding of the potential root cause of the equipment’s failure. Should you have any question, please feel free to contact our office at 716-681-1234.
