Raan Investments Ltd trading as Luxome is a rapidly expanding company specialising in the acquisition & refurbishment of property for affluent students and young professional’s. We offer luxury accommodation to students, undergraduates and postgraduates for short and long term renting. In addition the company also invests in premium commercial property. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals to work directly with the senior management and directors. The individual will have a chance to learn and grow in a dynamic fast moving environment where they will have a chance to work on real live projects and influence the decisions made at both a strategic and practical level.

The company will offer a full training & Internship programme to an enthusiastic and self motivated person with good organisational and customer service skills.

The company is looking for interns to carry out varied duties as listed below according to their ability; we are not expecting all candidates to be able to carry out all the duties but will move towards their natural ability. At the same time we are looking for candidates who have a self developing orientation, who have the ability to continuously improve and learn new skills, and increase their personal capability. With management teaching, ongoing training and mentoring from the company staff the candidate will be able to handle their role. Candidates should demonstrate good personality and positive attitudes towards their own goals. We value candidates who are self motivated with an ability and willingness to seek continuous improvement in new skills and areas.

Work Alongside:

Managing Director, Marketing Director, Sales Director, Financial Director & Operational team

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm,

3/4 hour for lunch. We do insist on taking regular break to get some fresh air and to keep you focused.

Main Responsibilities Include:

To execute Design activities for Luxome in support of the marketing plan
To carry out day to day design activities
To identify and action ways to broaden the following of the Luxome Brand & Product Demand through social media
To design content conjunction with the head of marketing
To identify and action ways to broaden the Luxome brand through Design
Ensure the effective marketing and communication design content are fully met to ensure our customers are full aware of our services
Develop practical Online Sales, Marketing & Communication design content aligned with company goals
Create graphic designs for our brand.
Update the website with new product pictures and news articles.
Creating various marketing materials including brochures, e-flyers, catalogues, etc.

Person Specification:

The candidate will be able to demonstrate their interest in design software
The candidate will have basic knowledge design - ideally from a business perspective but certainly someone who is actively using design software
A recent graphic design graduate from University or College or studying towards degree in design
Proficient user of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Good attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Hungry to learn new skills and design techniques.

Who is responsible for my mentoring & training?

This mentoring & training will be by the Managing Partner Neeraj Takiar. Neeraj is a strategic & marketing trainer, practioner, consultant, entrepreneur who has over 20 years experience in the marketing arena.

He has exited 2 previous businesses including Eternity Football which was dealing with 48 football clubs in 12 countries. He is also the Director of Raan Investments which was established in 2009 is one of the UK's best Boutique Student Accommodation brands. He is accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing.
