September/October Schedule

Be sure to update your calendars with the dates/times below as

some events/times have changed or been cancelled.

Week of Sept. 29th - October 3rd

Monday, Sept. 29 - After School Practice - Full Band 3:30-5:00pm @ SH Practice Field (pick up at SH @ 5:00pm)

Wednesday, Oct. 1 - Drumline Practice - 5:30-7:30pm @ JH Band Room

Thursday, Oct. 2 - Home Game 4:00pm @ Tiger Stadium

  • 3:00pm - students report to JH Auditorium to dress in uniform (please wear shorts and band t-shirt)
  • 3:30pm - warm-up
  • 3:50pm - march to stadium for pre-game performance
  • 4:45-5:00pm - perform during halftime
  • 6:15pm - return uniforms to JH and dismissal

Friday, Oct. 3 - Combined Show performance with SH Marching Band

  • 3:00pm - practice at Tiger Stadium
  • 4:30pm - walk to SH for dinner (provided for ALL students - FREE)
  • 6:00pm - dress in uniforms at JH (you may wear your Sideline Cancer Shirts)
  • 6:40pm - perform combined show during pregame
  • ALL STUDENTS MUST REMAIN AT THE GAME FOR THE ENTIRE TIME
  • Both bands will perform their full halftime shows on the field at the end of the game
  • 10:00pm - return uniforms and dismissal from JH

Monday, Oct. 6 - After School Practice - Full Band 3:30-5:00pm @ SH Practice Field (pick up at SH @ 5:00pm)

Wednesday, Oct. 8 - DrumlinePractice - 5:30-7:30pm @ JH Band Room

Thursday, Oct. 9 - Home Game vs. Altoona 4:00pm @ Tiger Stadium

  • Altoona JH is bringing their marching band - both band will perform their shows during halftime

Monday, Oct. 13 - BANDARAMA Practice 3:00-5:00pm @ JUNIOR HIGH AUDITORIUM

Wednesday, Oct. 15 - Drumline Practice - 5:30-7:30pm @ JH Band Room

Thursday, Oct. 16 - Bandarama Concert 7:30pm @ JH Auditorium

  • 6:30pm - report time for combined warm-up/rehearsal and to dress in uniforms

Monday, Oct. 20 - After School Practice - Full Band 3:30-5:00pm @ SH Practice Field (pick up at SH @ 5:00pm)

Wednesday, Oct. 22 - Drumline Practice - 5:30-7:30pm @ JH Band Room

***Thursday, Oct. 23 - FINAL Home Game 5:00pm @ Tiger Stadium

***Saturday, Oct. 25 - Hollidaysburg Halloween Parade

  • 3:00pm - report to JH in costume for the parade (all students must dress up for the parade)
  • 4:00pm - parade begins @ JH
  • 6:00pm - parade concludes at Phoenix Fire Hall - parents should either meet students at the fire hall or arrange to meet them nearby. Traffic will be very congested, plan accordingly
  • DrumlineSousas are responsible for returning to the school to unload their instruments immediately after the parade.

AFTER SCHOOL PRACTICES WILL NOT BE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

WE WILL REHEARSE IN EITHER THE JH or SH IF NEEDED!
