BALI HYATT “CELEBRATING OUR PEOPLE 2012”
Bali, 25 June 2012 – Bali Hyatt recently showed appreciation to its most valuable resource: its people. “Celebrating Our People” is an annual Global Hyatt event dedicated to all the employees of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts around the world.
At the Bali Hyatt, the “Celebrating Our People” week commenced on 17 and ended on 22 June 2012 and featured a number of activities such as cultural preservation like “Banten” and a suckling pig making competition. There was also sporting competition in the form of table tennis, volleyball, billiards, chess and futsal. Bali Hyatt staff also actively participated in other activities such as a painting competition, a blood donation and product knowledge quiz.
As part of Hyatt’s commitment to the community, Bali Hyatt also carried out a social visit to State Elementary School no.2 in Selat, Klungkung regency, taking along some stationery supplies, uniforms and wooden tables and chairs for the school to use. The same day, the group of Hyatt staff continued their journey to East Seraya in Karangasem regency to present a donation of water tanks.
The opening day of the week of festivities was announced by a balloon release and fun family walk. The day was a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun as they joined in several exciting games competition after the fun walk. During the event, some door prizes were also raffled off.
The final night of the special week on 22 June 2012 was enlivened with a variety of food stalls, door prizes, live music and a special Balinese comedy show at the Rinjani Hall, Bali Hyatt.
