AMENDED A G E N D A
Note: The Board may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to table, or decide not to discuss any item on the agenda.
1. Invocation
2. Call meeting to order and recording of members present or absent.
3. Vote to approve/disapprove minutes of the last board meeting.
4. Communication from the public.
5. Presentation of audit report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2017 by Britton, Kuykendall, and Miller,
CPA’s.
6. Vote to approve/disapprove Britton, Kuykendall, and Miller, CPA’S audit report fiscal year end
June 30, 2017.
7. Vote to approve/disapprove and sign the” Irrevocable Resignation, Settlement Agreement, Modification
of Employment Contract, And Release Of All Claims Agreement,” between the Canute Board of
Education and Superintendent Larry Parrish. Superintendent Parrish’s resignation will be effective
June 30, 2018 if approved.
8. Approve/disapprove and sign the “Contract Addendum” for Superintendent Larry Parrish for the
remainder of the 2017-2018 school year.
9. Present Brad Hohnke, with the Certificate of Election from the County Election Board , State of
Oklahoma for the office of School Board Member, seat number 3.
10. Discuss and vote to approve/disapprove school calendar for the 2018/2019 school year.
11. Discuss LED project and approve/disapprove completing the remainder of the 70/30 PSO LED
rebate project with Luminous LED Technologies.
12. Discuss and vote to approve/disapprove encumbrances and warrants. General Fund #157,
Payroll #70119**Building Fund #0**Lunch Fund #15**Activity Fund*, and any change orders to apply
to approved purchase orders.
13. Superintendent report.
A. Security Cameras
B. Gross production.
C. Mid –Term adjustment – State Aid
14. New business [for matters that have developed since posting of the agenda].
15. Proposed executive session for the board to discuss employment of a new Superintendent of Schools for
the 2018-2019 school year. [Executive session permitted by 25 O.S. Section 307 (b)(1) of the open
meeting act.]
16. Vote to convene in executive session.
17. Vote to acknowledge the board has returned to open session
18. Statement of executive session minutes that being what was discussed in executive session.
19. Vote to adjourn.
INDIVIDUALS HAVING A PHYSICAL CONDITION THAT PREVENTS THEM FROM ATTENDING THE
BOARD MEETING IS REQUESTED TO CONTACT THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 12:00 NOON ON THE
DAY OF SAID MEETING SO ARRANGEMENTS MAY BE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE SAID INDIVIDUALS.
