User Name and Password Troubleshooting
Zscaler (Safari) Login
If trying to login to Zscaler (green page), make sure your user name is in the following format:
User name:
Password: word12345 (same as Gertz Gmail)
If that doesn’t work try the password without your 5 digit ID number.
Gertz Gmail Login
If trying to login to the Gertz Gmail website, make sure your user name is in the following format:
User name:
Password: word12345
If that doesn’t work try the password without your 5 digit ID number.
Network Connection/Website Not Loading At Home/CPM Login
If you cannot sign into your Gmail account or are having trouble accessing our network or a webpage, try the following:
Go to the settings app > under Safari > Click on “Clear safari history and data.”
Then open the safari app and login to Zscaler > open a new webpage and try logging in to your Gertz Gmail account.
iPad Black Screen/Quitting Guided Access
If your iPad is frozen or is only showing a black screen. Do a hard reset.
Hold down the home button and power button together until you she the white Apple logo on the screen. As soon as the Apple logo shows up let go of both buttons.
App Won’t Load/Freeze
If a specific app will not load the best solution will be to return to the home screen via the home button. Double clicking the home button will open the multi app view in which the app that will not be load will be present to the right. Flick on the app towards the top of the screen in which the app will be removed. Search for the app on the home menu in which it should appear and open the app again.
iPad seems to be zoomed in
If the iPad appears to be zoomed in on the lock screen or on an app the method to fix the issue would be to triple click on the screen in which a menu should appear somewhere on the screen. A slider should appear in which the dot will appear on the right. Move the dot to the end of the slider in which should zoom iPad out. Click on show controller in the menu in order for issue to not occur.
