FFA Calf Scramble and Chute Doggin’
FFA Calf Scramble
1. Open to all FFA members grades 9-12.
2. Participants must be in good standing with their FFA chapter and academically eligible.
3. Each school will distribute entry forms at the Joint Meeting in January.
4. Signed, notarized entry form must be turned in to supervising ag teacher by January 30th, 2013.
5. There will be 10 participants and 2 alternates selected from each chapter.
6. The awards will be a belt buckle for the first catch and garment bags for all catching participants, each night. (1 buckle, 9 bags)
7. HHS, KHS, ½ KPHS-Friday Night
SCHS, AHS, ½ KPHS-Saturday Night
8. Arena rules will be followed at all times, or the student will be excluded from the competition. Only ag teachers, arena officials, and exhibitors are permitted in the arena.
9. Participants must attend the meeting that will take place at 6:45 p.m. outside the VIP area (near restrooms) prior to their performance.

Chute Doggin’
1. Open to all FFA members grades 9-12.
2. Participants must be in good standing with their FFA chapter and academically eligible.

4. There will be 4 participants and 2 alternates selected from each FFA chapter.
5. Prize will be a belt buckle for fastest time and duffle bag for next 4 placing runs.
6. HHS, KHS, ½ KPHS-Friday Night
SCHS, AHS, ½ KPHS-Saturday Night
7. 3 fastest times on Friday night must attend Saturday night performance to receive award.
8. Arena rules will be followed at all times, or the student will be excluded from the competition. Only ag teachers, arena officials, and exhibitors are permitted in the arena.
9. Participants must attend the meeting that will take place at 6:45 p.m. outside the VIP area (near restrooms) prior to their performance.
10. Officials will keep times and names of fastest runs.
