The registration fee for delegates or the accompanying person includes
- attendance at the meeting from Tuesday evening to the Saturday evening
- "proceedings" (for delegates)
- the excursions (bus etc.) and
- all meals (incl. formal dinner), included to the registration fee
- but not your hotel accommodation.

Please note that there is a higher fee for late registration after 19 April 2013.
Note:Please make sure that your remittance to the bank account is free of bank charges to the receiver. Any bank fees incurred will be charged to the participant.
Canceling your registration and refunding of the fees
Following the decisions made at the administrative meeting in 2001, if the registration is cancelled by a participant after 19April 201330%of the total amount of the fees are not refunded. Canceling 10 days before the meeting means no refund of the total amount.

Our recommendation for booking the hotel:
We have the possibility to order rooms according to the list of SC participants (sent till 19 April 2013 via online registration or via e-mail).
You could mark your room of choice (single/double and number) on the online registration form or inform us via e-mail with the registration form attached):
If all orders for rooms are completed before 3 of May 2013, we could have some advantages from the Hotel main office for better service during Congress (additional meals, drinks, audio/video service, etc).

Kiev airports:
1) Kyiv Boryspil International Airport
This airport located 22 km from Kiev. Transportation of the groups of participants by bus (minivan) could be arranged by Organizing Committee if you’ll need it.
2) KyivAirport Zhulyany. This airport located directly in Kiev city. It’s not so big airport but very new and stylish. It has the advantage of cheap flights (Wizz Air, Ryan Air, etc).
How to get to Kiev
We provide a bus service from the airport tothe hotel(bus ride approx. 30 minutes). Pleaseinform us about your arrival time, so that we can arrange a pick-up service. We will provide further details via e-mail when we check your arrival/departure times.
PRESENTATION OF PAPERS AND POSTERS
Thank you to all those delegates who have already offered to present a paper or a poster at the meeting of the Scientific Commission. Please confirm your offer to present a paper or poster with your final registration (online registration or with the registration form attached via e-mail). For those who wish to present a paper an early registration (till 4 April) would be necessary.
As soon as possible,you will be informed whether your presentation can be accepted aspaper or poster. Along with this information I shall send the guidelines for preparing your manuscript. I will await the manuscriptof your paper (4 pages in maximum) or poster (1 page) before 3 May 2013. All presentations will be published in the proceedings.
For all those who want to publish their contribution in a peer-reviewed journal, please inform me of your plans. In this case, for the Proceedings of the SC I can accept a 1-page abstract of your paper.
It is the decision of the author/s to choose his/their peer-reviewed journal for publication. I would recommend submitting your manuscript to BrewingScience – Monatsschrift für Brauwissenschaft“( Dr Lydia Winkelmann, editor-in-chief of several scientific and trade journals on brewing science and industry, offered once more this opportunity and she also announced to publish a special edition for hop related articles in December 2013. The publication language is English.
At the meeting please present your paper or poster in English. Papers should be 15-20 minutes in length (including discussion). A beamer for PowerPoint presentations will be available. For posters (DIN A0 in maximum = 841 mm x 1189 mm) we are providing the equipment which is necessary to fix the posters to a pinboard.
Early application for a visa if necessary
For those persons who need a visa for traveling to the Ukraine we can provide our help by offering official letters of invitation, if requested. Visas are needed for citizens of the USA, Australia and South Africa, but please check for yourself for guarantee.
