Seventh Report of November 3rd, 2017

On behalf of our RECEADIT Humanitarian Team, I take this opportunity to thank you so very much for your generosity and willingness to join us and to partnership with us in our humble journey of serving humanitythrough the Guidance, the Blessings, the Love and the Grace of God Almighty.
We are glad to provide you with the following progress report and updates for our “Kitchu Community Water Project” thanks to your generosity:

1)Since our last report, Sixth Report of August 5th, 2017, the Plumbing Team has been monitoring the Two Water Tanks for leaks and making necessary adjustments and repairs. So far, the water supply has been steady and reliable except for the period of the violent disconnection/disruption of electricity by the government during the month of October as a result of the political crisis in this part of the country;

2) Thewater storage tanks are still firmly connectedto the plastic water pipesfrom the welland the water supply is abundant (See First photo below);

3) The violent government disconnection/disruption of electricity in October damaged the water pump. Our community-based electrician has successfully replaced and reconnected the water pump from the well to the electricity system and it is now working properly and successfully again (See Second photo below);

4) We are now waiting for the Dry Season (November 2017 through March 2018) to assess whether the quantity/amount of water supply will remain the same and dependable. It will be in March 2018 that we shall decide whether to supply water to two moreWater Supply Points within the Community; and
